Jane Austen Sequels: The Novels of M.K. Baxley

M.K. Baxley is a woman of many talents. Writing may be passion for her, but she also finds pleasure in a great many things, with gardening, cooking, sewing, needlework, and designing children’s clothing amongst her many talents.

Mrs. Baxley was born in Brooklyn, NY but grew up spending many of her early years on her grandparent’s farm in Tennessee. She later lived in the Cumberland Plateau while attending the Tennessee Technological University and earning a degree in Computer Science.

She is currently a resident of Huntsville, AL and lives with her husband and several of her five children. The rest of he chicks are grown and have left the nest for careers of their own, with two sons serving in the armed forces.

Her first novel, The Cumberland Plateau: A Pride and Prejudice Modern Sequel, is an epic 500 page novel, with some interesting twists and turns. A great freshman effort, her sophomore novel, Dana Darcy, is part of the Modern Pemberley Series and is due out later in the year.
