Jane Austen Sequels: The Novels of Skylar Hamilton Burris
Skylar Hamilton Burris has always loved to write. So much so, that she was once selected as the NCTE Promising Young Writer while still in high school. Her notable career accomplishments include two Jane Austen Pride and Prejudice sequels, owning and running a small literary magazine and the production of a full collection of poetry.
She holds dual bachelors degrees in English and Economics and later graduated with an M.A in English literature. She now works from home as a freelance editor while caring for her two young children.
Her first full length novel, Conviction: A Sequel to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, was published in 2006, with her second novel, An Unlikely Missionary, released just two years later.
Both are excellent reads, and we hope she will find the time in her busy life to begin a new book sometime in the near future.
We would love to see more of her excellent writing to follow up on the success of her first two Jane Austen sequels.
